Call for Workshop Sponsors

Dear Potential Sponsor,

We are writing to ask your organization to sponsor the wrap-up workshop for the Eighth Dialog System Technology Challenge (DSTC8) which will be held at the conference of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI-20) in New York on Feb 8, 2020.

The DSTC has been a premier research competition for Dialog Systems since its inception in 2013. DSTC8 has four tracks: (1) Multi-domain Task Completion, (2) NOESIS II: Predicting Responses, Identifying Success, and Managing Complexity in Task-Oriented Dialogue, (3) Audio Visual Scene-Aware Dialog Track, and (4) Scalable Schema-Guided Dialogue State Tracking. More than 280 people were registered and 70 teams finally participated in DSTC8.

We will have a wrap-up workshop to review the state-of-the-art performance and novel approaches on the DSTC8 tasks and discuss the next directions for dialog technology challenges at the one-day workshop at AAAI-20. We will invite general technical papers for dialog technologies and keynote speakers who have proposed cutting-edge approaches which can be applied to dialog technologies.

We are starting to solicit sponsorship for DSTC8 workshop. These funds will be used to offset some costs for items such as social events, honorariums for invited speakers, supporting students, etc. In exchange for your support, we will provide the opportunity to promote your company during the workshop and through the webpage. The sponsorship package for DSTC8 is shown in the application form. We would greatly appreciate if you could contribute to DSTC8.

If you are interested in sponsoring DSTC8, please send back the following application form with the electronic copies of logos of your organization to our sponsorship committee (contact information below). We hope you will be able to sponsor DSTC8, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
DSTC8 Organizing Committee (https://sites.google.com/dstc.community/dstc8/organizing-committees)
